First Chemo – A Painful First Step in Her Fight

Chemotheraphy - Cycle 1

On June 4, Mama Beth bravely completed her first chemotherapy cycle — a milestone that came with overwhelming physical pain and emotional weight.

The days leading up to it were filled with silent fear. That morning, she was already pale and weak. She quietly took her pre-meds, trembling. Still, she whispered, “Kaya natin ’to. (We got this)” Not for herself — but for us.

She didn’t complain. She didn’t cry.
She showed up. She was brave.

Where your kindness went
Your kindness paid for every step — and we want you to see exactly how.

So far, ₱117,400.91 (≈ $2,066.42 USD) has been paid for Mama Beth’s first chemo — covering all her chemotherapy drugs, pre-lab work, doctor’s fees, and hospital charges.

This was made possible through your donations and borrowed funds, just so she wouldn’t miss her first treatment. We’ve included a full breakdown below to honor that trust — because every cent came with love, and you deserve to know where it went.

How She’s Doing Now

Mama Beth came home fragile — too dizzy to sit for long, too nauseous to eat. The medicine is doing its job, but the side effects are unforgiving. She sleeps most of the day now, caught in a cycle of pain and silence.

Still, her spirit is there. Quiet, but unbroken.

What’s Next – Cycle 2 on June 25

Her next chemotherapy is scheduled for June 25, and her labs are set for June 23 to check if her body can handle another round.

We haven’t raised the funds yet — and that’s what scares us most.
Her doctor warned: we cannot delay the next cycle. But without the medication and lab costs covered, we might not be able to move forward.
